The Atlanta artist is coming out swinging from K Camp’s corner.

There are often years of hard work that go into an artist making his debut, with a team working tirelessly in the background. That applies to the new Atlanta artist Genius. He's seen in his new "Fractions" video solo, aside form a canine, and the production from David Morse and SO sound like what a hero of a Western trots into town on his horse to lay waste to any outlaws. But his lyrics reflect the team that he's willing to share his victories with, and he also makes time to point out the fakes he's seen so far as a DJ: "[You] got your ice from Groupon." In an email to The FADER, Genius broke wrote that "the video was shot in horizontal and vertical shots in order to truly dictate in fractions." You can expect a full project from Genius later this year.
