Hawaii-born, Long Beach-based songwriter and producer Lionel Boy has kept a pretty low profile since walking into a studio for the first time two years ago, screaming obscenities into a microphone, and walking out with a surprisingly well-formed set of demos. In fact, it's hard to find anything he's done online — even his latest single "Are You Happy Yet" seems to have been removed from streaming services.

He's signed to Innovative Leisure now, though, and his new single "Lost," a detuned slacker-pop song that builds to a satisfyingly down-tempo guitar hook, is premiering at the top of the page. "I’ve been in a relationship for 10 years and from the moment we met till right now, getting lost is a simple way to describe the decade," the artist said in an email to The FADER. "Love can be romantic, intoxicating and destructive, but whatever shape it takes, it’s always sincere. I know we’re all still trying to figure it out."
