British producer and songwriter Fraser T Smith has announced details of his debut solo album. Smith, working under the name Free Utopia, will release 12 Questions on October 23. It includes a raft of guest features, including many artists Smith has worked with throughout his career.
Guests confirmed to appear on the album Stormzy, Dave, Kojey Radical, Idris Elba, and Kano. Smith has worked with many U.K. rappers across their careers, helping shape albums including Stormzy's Heavy Is The Head and Dave's breakout debut Psychodrama.
In addition to musicians, 12 Questions also features contributions from artists Es Devlin and Katrin Fridriks, poets Simon Armitage, Arlo Parks and Alysia Harris and former Black Panther, Albert Woodfox. The album is described as being "based on a series of twelve universal, human and urgent questions, each of which is posed by Fraser to a different collaborator."
The first single to be released from the album, "Do We Really Care? Pt.1" is streaming below and features Tom Grennan and Tia Carys on vocals.
