Lila Iké performed a short, intimate set with a live band for the at-home edition of NPR's Tiny Desk Concert series. The singer filmed the set in a home in Jamaica, diving into live renditions of four tracks from her latest project, The ExPerience.
Iké's vocal prowess is on full display throughout the set, bolstered by the perfectly synced musicians surrounding her. The pacing of the performance is a slow, brooding build, beginning with the track "Solitude" and its violin accompaniment. After gliding through renditions of her summer ode "I Spy" and "Forget Me," the performance closes with the uptempo cut, "Thy Will."
