Saxophonist and composer Nubya Garcia shared an unconventional episode for her home edition of NPR's Tiny Desk Concert series. Backed by her band, Joe Armon-Jones, Daniel Casmir, and Sam Jones, the London-based musician's 23-minute set took place on the water. More specifically, a recording studio inside a docked lighthouse floating along the River Thames.

Performing tracks from her debut album Source, recorded in the same floating studio, Garcia's powerful tenor saxophone slid effortlessly from the title track's dub reggae vibes to the frenetic overdrive of "Pace," before winding down with "Boundless Beings."
