James Blake will share a new four-track EP called Before on Wednesday, October 14 at 1 PM EST. The project was announced with a commercial for the 2021 Cadillac Escalade; in the ad, James Blake fans sit in the vehicle and listen to Before, then Blake comes out for a surprise performance of some new music. This year, James Blake has shared the song "Are You Even Real," collaborated with Mount Kimbie on the slowthai song "feel away," and shared a new version of Frank Ocean's "Godspeed," a song he co-wrote, after his demo went viral this year on TikTok.
