Born in Brooklyn but currently based in London, rapper Goya Gumbani transmits live from the burning embers of a recently-ended relationship on soulful new cut "Fight For Love." Over a dusty beat courtesy of U.K. producer Oliver Palfreyman, Gumbani reflects on where things went wrong, lamenting how "We say things that we don't mean, racing, chasing, until things got lost in translation." Check out the video, showcasing the more romantic side of the relationship, premiering above.

Palfreyman's sample-based loops offer up a bed on which Gumbani can deliver his bars in the same deadpan style synonymous with his NYC peers including MIKE and Slauson Malone. The whole thing is then studded with an extra layer of heart by Londoner George Riley's warm vocals.

Speaking to The FADER about his new video, Gumbani said: "What’s living without loving? I just learned what it meant. I’m glad this is out. it’s an extension to another piece of the puzzle. I like how the mood of the visual is all placed in the color of the backdrop."
