The clip takes place, according to a press release, in an empty Glendale Galleria shopping mall where Eilish used to spend time as a young teenager. But she's a superstar now, so she has to wait for the mall to close and clear out before she can run amok and grab food from the different vendors. It's kinda like Fatboy Slim's "Weapon of Choice" video directed by Spike Jonze, but with less dancing and more french fries. Watch above.
"Therefore I Am" is the third Billie Eilish song of the year after "No Time To Die," the theme from the upcoming James Bond film, and "my future," which she performed at the 2020 Democratic National Convention. If you haven't seen her NPR Tiny Desk (Home) Concert with her brother FINNEAS, you should check that out, too.
