Tkay Maidza has shared the visuals for her latest single "Kim" featuring Yung Baby Tate. The fun clip pays homage to various iconic Kims: Lil' Kim, Kim Kardashian, and Disney character Kim Possible, who Tkay says inspired the track.
“The idea for the song came from Kim Possible, an iconic figure from my childhood—she always came out on top,” Tkay said of the video in a press release. “I wanted to make a song to remind those who question me that I will always figure it out. And once we started planning the video, we had the idea to add iconic moments from other famous Kims in my lifetime.”
The song is Tkay's first single following 2020's perfectly-titled Last Year Was Weird Vol. 2.
