In terms of solo releases alone, A.G. Cook had an extremely productive 2020, releasing the 49-track 7G as well as his Apple LP. Those projects are the subject of a new full-length remix album called Apple vs 7G, out May 25 via Cook's PC Music. The lead single is "Xcxoplex” featuring longtim Cook collaborator Charli XCX, and it's a new version of the track "Xxoplex" from Apple. Unlike the abstract, ravier original, "Xcxoplex" is the kind of space-age pop XCX does so well. The music video, streaming above, puts Charli inside of a rotating 3D asterisk flying through strobe lights.
