Justin Bieber jumps on WizKid and Tems’ “Essence” remix
Bieber switches things up on new version of summer afrobeats smash.
You might have seen a viral tweet doing the rounds this week suggesting that Justin Bieber has a future making afrobeats music. Today that idea moved one step closer to reality with Bieber joining Wizkid and Tems on the remix of their hit “Essence.” Check out the new version of the track below.
The original "Essence" appears on Wizkid's 2020 album Made In Lagos. The Bieber remix is one of four new songs confirmed to appear on a deluxe edition of the album, due for release via Columbia Records on August 27.
Wizkid recently announced a raft of world tour dates. His North American dates in support of Made In Lagos begin in September.
