Curren$y and The Alchemist are far from strangers to collaboration. In 2011, the versatile duo came together for Covert Coup, one of the Blog Era's best mixtapes. Today, they released their new team-up Continuance, which Curren$y insists is not a sequel. The album was fully produced by The Alchemist and includes features from Havoc, Wiz Khalifa, Styles P, Babyface Ray, and Larry June. The album's release was preceded by singles "Half Moon Mornings" and "The Tonight Show," which both released earlier this month.

Last year was filled with music from both the ever-prolific New Orleans rapper and The Alchemist. In May 2021, their 2011 mixtape Covert Coup was re-released for streaming platforms. Curren$y shared six full-lengths including Pilot Talk 4, the latest instalment of his long-running mixtape series, Regatta with Harry Fraud, and label compilation Welcome To Jet Life Recordings 2. The producer released two albums with Detroit rapper Boldy James (Bo Jackson and Super Tecmo Bo), Haram with New York duo Armand Hammer and two EPs of his own, This Thing Of Ours and This Thing Of Ours 2. The Alchemist and Boldy James are currently supporting Action Bronson and Earl Sweatshirt on 15-date tour.
