The Weeknd has dropped another teaser ahead of the launch of his HBO Max series The Idol, due to launch later this year. The Weeknd, a.k.a. Abel Tesfaye, stars in the show alongside Lily-Rose Depp. The new trailer shows the pair, him an club owner/cult leader and her an aspiring singer, embracing the seedy underbelly of the LA nightlife and music industry. A release date for The Idol is currently unknown. The latest trailer lists a number of guest stars appearing on the show, including Dan Levy, Hari Nef, Hank Azaria, Troye Sivan, Susanna Son, BLACKPINK star Jennie, Mike Dean, Rachel Sennott, and Moses Sumney.

The Weeknd is currently on the road on a North American tour in support of his 2022 album Dawn FM.
