It's the question on everybody's lips: did Harry Styles spit on Chris Pine at the Venice premiere of Don't Worry Darling. Pine's team have denied the rumor, which is part of a movie press tour that will go down in celebrity gossip history, stating that it is a, quote, "ridiculous story" and a "blatant attempt to create drama." Stepping away from Venice, and his job promoting a movie that "feels like... a movie," Styles was on stage in New York on Wednesday night where he touched on the crazy week he had in Italy.
Poking fun at the whole scenario, Styles told fans at his Madison Square Garden concert: “It’s wonderful, wonderful, wonderful to be back in New York. I just popped very quickly to Venice to spit on Chris Pine." This being a Harry Styles audience the screams when he mentioned Venice were so loud they appeared to drown out his joke about Pine. If there is one thing we have learned from all of this, however, it's that the internet captures the small things forever.

Styles is currently in the middle of a residency at the Garden, with support from opening act Blood Orange. The pop star is in the midst of a massively successful tour behind his new, also massively successful album Harry's House, a show that will run through North and Latin America in 2022. Late last month Styles revealed 2023 tour dates of the United Kingdom and Europe, plus a handful of new shows and venue upgrades of his previously announced gigs.
