November 8 is midterm election night and non-profit #iVoted is encouraging people to cast their ballot via a livestreamed festival and a series of concert ticket giveaways. iVoted has partnered with AEG Presents to offer music fans the chance to win tickets to see Steve Lacy, Tegan and Sara, Santigold, Rina Sawayama, Orville Peck, Soccer Mommy, Ozuna, Toro Y Moi, Omar Apollo, and more on election night. From September 26 anyone can enter the sweepstakes by submitting a selfie outside a polling location or elsewhere with a blank ballot.
In addition to the IRL events, iVoted will also be staging another livestream festival with 400 artists expected to take part. Run The Jewels, The Range, Jordana, and Bully are among the first names confirmed for the #iVoted Festival webcast. A similar streamed festival took place in 2020, with Billie Eilish among the performers. Anyone submitting a selfie for the concert ticket giveaway will automatically gain access to the digital event.
