Stormzy has just been confirmed as the first headliner for London’s All Points East 2023. Celebrating the release of his third studio album, This Is What I Mean, which is set to release later this month, the London rapper also announced he’ll be curating a whole day of music ahead of his set on August 18, 2023.

“I said to the team, we gotta do something bigger, something better, something different,” Stormzy shared in an Instagram video. “I started jotting down ideas, thinking, ‘Live band, need a live band, August 2023, a summer time thing, outside, for the people, always for my people.’”

The rest of the All Points East lineup has yet to be announced. Presale for the event starts at 10 a.m. GMT on November 15, with general tickets going on sale on November 17 on the festival’s official website.

Last week, Stormzy announced a new partnership with Adidas to launch #Merky FC, a career initiative that aims build diversity in soccer, particularly for young people of Black heritage. He’s one of more than 40 artists from around the globe featured on the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack, which dropped November 4, a week before the film’s wide release this Friday.
