Rema searches for a dance partner in the “Charm” video

The song appears on the just-released deluxe edition of 2022’s Rave & Roses.

In April, Rema shared three new songs — "Charm," "Dunno Me (Freestyle)," and "HOV" — as part of the Nigerian pop star's deluxe edition of his 2022 album Rave & Roses. Out of the trio, "Charm" definitely had the makings of the most radio-friendly new track, and today Rema has shared a new music video for the song. It's got a slightly dreamier, abstract vibe than the kind of clip Rema usually puts out, with much of it consisting of a shot of a silhouetted Rema dancing solo. Still, the video, which is co-directed by Rema, Perliks, and Folarin Oludare, manages to incorporate a bit of sexual tension (and one shot that looks a lot like the album cover for Metro Boomin's Not All Heroes Wear Capes). Watch above.
