Made In America 2023 canceled over “severe circumstances outside of production control”

The annual festival was set for Philadelphia this Labor Day weekend.

The 2023 edition of Made In America has been canceled. Organizers for the event, held annually at Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia over Labor Day weekend, announced the news on Instagram.

“Due to severe circumstances outside of production control,” the note reads, “the 2023 Made In America festival will no longer be taking place.” Ticket refunds will be issued at the point of purchase.

Lizzo and SZA were slated to headline the festival alongside performances from Lil Yachty, Metro Boomin, Ice Spice, and many more.

In their post, Made In America’s organizers make it clear that they hope to bring the festival back next year, writing, “We look forward to returning to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and the great city of Philadelphia in 2024.” View the full statement below.
