bar italia have released “Jelsy,” a track from the London indie rock band's forthcoming album The Twits, due on November 3.
"Jelsy" follows the recent single “my little tony" and comes with a black and white video showing the band performing it while drinking at a bar. Check it out below.
Ahead of the arrival of The Twits, bar italia will stage their own art show in London. Press materials note that "sketches by the band members made around the writing of the new album and informed by its world" will be on display at the Frieze exhibition space on October 27.
The band will then tour across the U.K. and Europe from late October. They return to the U.S. in December for their first full North American tour, including New York shows at Bowery Ballroom and Elsewhere. Further dates in Europe and North America are scheduled for 2024. Find their full list of upcoming dates below.
The Twits will be bar italia's second album of 2023. Their debut Tracy Denim was released in May.
