Watch Dave Grohl play drums with boygenius at the Hollywood Bowl

boygenius brought their live show to the Hollywood Bowl last night and were joined by Dave Grohl. The Foo Fighters frontman joined the trio to play drums on “Satanist.” The band — Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker — got into the Halloween spirit and took to the stage dressed as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Grohl also dressed up, appearing as a corpse-like creature. Check out footage from the show below.

Last month boygenius released The Rest, an EP accompaniment to their debut album, The Record, which came out earlier this year. The group are due to play SNL alongside host Timothée Chalamet on November 11.
