Yaeji races a scooter through New York in her “easy breezy” video

Yaeji has shared a video for her new song "easy breezy." The track follows Yaeji's debut album, With A Hammer, which was released earlier this year. A self-directed video for "easy breezy," which shows Yaeji (and her dog Jiji) making their way through the streets of New York on a scooter, can be seen below.

In a statement, Yaeji said: "'easy breezy' feels like a sequel that weaves a thread through my past releases (and my past selves). Sonically, the song connects a thread between me now and me back in middle school — when I discovered bossa nova, drum and bass, and house through Korean and Japanese pop electronica. [The song] is a thread, a tribute, a recollection of memories, and an encouraging push for us to bring forth change with courage and laughter. we hold the power in our hands, and we should never doubt that. change is now.”

"easy breezy" arrives ahead of the European leg of Yaeji's With A Hammer tour, which begins in Amsterdam on Tuesday. She is scheduled to play shows in Germany, Denmark, Belgium, France, Czechoslovakia, and the U.K. before a final date in Barcelona, Spain on November 18.
