November 28, 2023

Ghostface Killah will release his memoir next year via St. Martin’s Press, an imprint of publisher Macmillan. Rise of a Killah will be available from May 14 and is described by the publisher as "both visual record and a real-feel narrative of a performer’s life," detailing the rapper's early days on Staten Island and through his time as a member of Wu-Tang Clan.

Wu-Tang memoirs are something of a trend in the book world, with Raekwon releasing From Staircase to Stage: The Story of Raekwon and the Wu-Tang Clan in 2021. U-God, meanwhile, published Raw: My Journey Into the Wu-Tang Clan in 2018. The rap group's story was also told on screen in documentary form with Showtime's 2019 series Wu-Tang: Of Mics and Men

Wu-Tang Clan recently finished a co-headlining tour with Nas. They also celebrated 30 years of Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), with New York declaring November 9 as "Wu-Tang Day."
