It hasn't been two weeks since LiAngelo Ball shared his debut single "Tweaker," but the song's instanteous viral success has reportedly helped Ball land a massive record deal. According to ESPN's Shams Charania, Ball's deal with Def Jam and Universal Music Group is worth up to $13 million with $8 million guaranteed, and gives Ball full ownership over his music as well as his own record label.

As of press time, "Tweaker" has logged 15 million Spotify streams and sold 94K units in its first week, according to ChartData. Ball will take the stage at Rolling Loud California this March, joining headliners A$AP Rocky, Playboi Carti, and Peso Pluma. Prior to music, Ball spent two years playing G-league basketball for the Greensboro Swarm — his brothers Lonzo and LaMelo play for the Chicago Bulls and Charlotte Hornets, respectively.
