The wait is over... Frank Ocean is officially releasing Channel Orange on vinyl. The album, first released in 2012, is available to order now via Ocean's Blonded.co website with the 2xLP package costing $69. Patience is a virtue in the Frank Ocean community and a note on the order page (“Please allow 4-6 weeks for fulfillment.”) does suggest another slight wait, but nothing major.

This is not the first time the prospect of Channel Orange vinyl has been dangled in front of Ocean's fans. Six years ago he said the album would be available physically "ASAP," but that never came to pass. Ocean has made his subsequent albums, Endless and Blonde, available on vinyl.

In other Ocean news, this week the multi-hyphenate's luxury company Homer confirmed the opening of two new physical stores. The first will be in London's Hatton Garden area, a hub for high-end jewelry shopping, with a second opening in Downtown Los Angeles’ jewelry district.

Coinciding with the openings, Homer will introduce three new collections: “Frankenstein-Cord”, a new collection designed in collaboration with historic New York artist Barry Kieselstein-Cord, plus “Sodium” and the “Beef Broccoli Life” collection:

Earlier this year it was reported that Ocean had begun shooting on his first movie as a director in Mexico City. The untitled A24 movie is believed to star British actor David Jonsson, who has appeared in HBO's Industry and the movies Rye Lane and Alien: Romulus.
