Hayley Williams shares 17 new songs on her website
A password-protected website yields the new music, plus performance footage, a merch mock-up, and more.
Over four years after the release of her sophomore solo project Flowers for Vases / Descansos, Hayley Williams has surprise-released 17 new songs. Fans registered for updates on Williams' hair dye company, Good Dye Young received a password for a website unlocking the new songs. The site's design styled like a 2000s-era Windows PC, with songs like "NegativeSelfTalk.mp3" and "DreamGirlInShibuya.mp3" littering the desktop. Check out Check it out here.
In addition to the music, Williams's drop includes a bunch of other curios in a folder labeled "Misc." Inside is footage of a performance of the French pop band Phoenix at Monterrey in 2017, a mock-up of a tee shirt, some lyrics written in a phallic-themed coloring book, and a recording of a small child offering some words of encouragement.
It's a huge drop from Williams, whose only solo release thus far in 2025 has been the Moses Sumney-featuring song "I Like It I Like It." Earlier this year she and her Paramore bandmate Zac Farro released a lost album by Rusty Williams, Hayley's grandfather, recorded in the '70s and titled Grand Man. She and the rest of Paramore are working on new music following their departure from longtime label Atlantic in early 2024.
