RADA ups the ante with “bad day” and “rain dance”
Watch the British electropop singer traipse through a pastel phantasmagoria in her latest video
RADA usually sounds like the coolest person in the room, but even cool girls have bad days. She's back with two new singles, "bad day" and "rain dance." The former arrives with a dreamy video directed by Jasmine Johnson that reminds me a bit of classic Gregg Araki films: watch RADA play a wind-up doll in the clip above.
"bad day" feels closer to straight pop music than the tracks on her August 2025 debut EP XO, but retains the gritty low-end that makes RADA's music perfectly suited for the club. B-side "rain dance" has plenty of the churning tension that animates her darker tracks ("5amlondon," "replay") but yields even more euphoria thanks to a glitchy beat drop.
