Superstar singer and actress Ariana Grande will be back with new music this summer.
Today, April 28, the Wicked star shared on Instagram that her next album petal will be out on July 31, 2026. She also shared the album art, a black and white photo of her smiling with her recognizably long hair in front of her face. Per a press release, the album is produced by longtime Grande collaborator ILYA (Ilya Salmanzadeh), who is well known for co-writing and producing the likes of "Problem," and much of Grande's critically acclaimed albums Sweetener and Thank U, Next.
Grande described the new album as "something that is full of life and growing through the cracks of something cold and hard and challenging" in an April 18 Instagram video.
The forthcoming album will come during Grande's highly anticipated (and sold out) The Eternal Sunshine Tour, which kicks off on June 6 in Oakland. The tour, her first since since 2019's Sweetener World Tour, sparked widespread fanfare and notably long queues on Ticket Master.
After years focused on her acting work, playing Glinda the Good Witch in Wicked and Wicked: For Good, the dual return of Grande to touring and releasing music is surely a sweet surprise for Grande's passionate stan community, the Arianators.
Stay tuned with The FADER for more information on Grande's forthcoming album and tour.
