City Parks' annual SummerStage concert series is a godsend in a city that deducts $100 out of your checking account the second you step outside. The iconic outdoor performing arts festival brings over 60 free shows and concerts to Central Park and 12 other neighborhood parks across the city's five borough. This year marks their 40th anniversary — and they've booked a lineup worthy of the milestone.
De La Soul, Angélique Kidjo, Mavis Staples, De La Soul, Spoon, Andrew Bird, Bilal, MIKE’s Young World with Max B, Black Country, New Road, and Horsegirl are among the 100+ musical acts tapped to participate in the 2026 summer season. Some shows will be free while a small selection will be "benefits" and ticketed.
