Trim, “Coconut Water”

The joy of listening to Trim is that you can tell how fun she must be to hang out with. “Coconut Water” or, excuse me, GOGONUT WATA, has already inspired an avalanche of memes but that doesn’t take away from the song’s genuine hit-power and pool of personality. I’m gonna be referring to my juicy tits all summer long. —Steffanee Wang

MUNA, “Eastside Girls”

As a proud born-and-raised Angeleno, I’m living for “Eastside Girls” from super-band MUNA’s very great new album, Dancing On The Wall. Come for the L.A. highway references (“Pick me up off the 2, you can get it”) and stay for its moving ode to the east side. The track makes a cozy night in Echo Park sound as romantic as a candle lit dinner in Paris. — Tobias Hess

CFCF and Cecile Believe, “Bad Song”

Montreal-born producer CFCF teams up with fellow Montreal musical heavyweight Cecile Believe on the very silly, very sleazy, “Bad Song.” Believe’s voice has been featured on some all time songs, like SOPHIE’s “Is It Cold In The Water?” and A.G. Cook’s “Show Me What,” and “Bad Song” is another stellar feature. — TH

Kenny Mason and JID, “TEST ME”

Kenny Mason and J.I.D are fighting demons on some "evil twin" shit on "TEST ME," daring anyone to test them over a menacing beat. As a fan of their brotherly debauchery, I’m just praying for them to release a collaborative project soon. — Kylah Williams.

Ema Onigah, “With You”

I’m in Rema’s top 3% of listeners on Spotify, and soon I’ll be in Ema Onigah’s top percentile as well. The Lagos newcomer sings from the deepest part of his heart, and raps his confessions in a way that rolls off his tongue earnestly. On “With You,” he brings a choir with him that makes the yearning feel all the more real. — KW

AG Club (Jody Fontaine), “Precious”

This solo cut by AG Club member Jody Fontaine continues the group’s penchant for combining headbanging braggadocio with a looming sense of ache. Strings and ambient textures come in over a bass heavy beat and make a line like “Tell C.A.A. we need a movie roooole” sound strangely touching. — TH

Cash Cobain, “I Wanna Rock”

The C.E.O of summer, Cash Cobain, has officially announced the season with a signature smash. He samples “Lovers and Friends,” French Montana’s “Pop That,” and “I Wanna Rock:” three tracks that have no business being in the same room (or club), but somehow they work perfectly together under his direction. — KW

Charli xcx, “Rock Music”

I’m really banging my head!! Every take on this song has been shared already, so I’ll just say that each time I hear it, I appreciate its directness, simplicity, and sense of fun. —Steffanee Wang
