Drake, “Outside Tweaking”

This song is proof that multiple truths exist: 1. The entire Drake album release was over-the-top and annoying. 2. “Outside Tweaking” slaps and is one of his greatest releases in years. —Steffanee Wang

Tove Lo, “I’m your girl right?”

Tove Lo, “I’m your girl, right?”

Right when pop needed her, Tove Lo came back. This moody, sexy, throbby club banger about simping for a toxic partner is made for summer nights making bad decisions. —SW

diamond*, “HIGH FASHIØN”

“I been getting rich now I got cousins that I never met,” diamond* raps midway through “HIGH FASHIØN,” the latest single from one of ØWay’s most prominent young stars. With success comes stress, and diamond*’s been having a very successful year alongside partner-in-crime Tezzus. But listening to “HIGH FASHIØN,” diamond* might be my favorite Young Thug signee ever. —Vivian Medithi

Cannelle, “Stereo”

Listening to Cannelle has me wishing I paid more attention in my high school French classes. “Stereo,” the Oscar Scheller-produced first single from her upcoming debut mixtape, is almost entirely in her native language, but the pounding beat needs no translation. It’s like Cannelle herself told us back in February: “people singing to my songs in French just hits harder.” —VM

Rob49, Loe Shimmy, YTB Fatt, & Fox BD, “Type Shit (REMIX)”

If his recent singles are any indicator, Rob49 is working on an explosive followup to last year’s Let Me Fly. Somehow, he’s still finding time to cut up with Loe Shimmy, YTB Fatt, and Fox BD for a ridiculous “Type Shit” remix — Rob and Loe always sound good, but Fatt and Fox steal the show. — VM

£MONZO, "Oiii DJ"

Black girl EDM just bangs. Listening to "Oii DJ" is a promise to flaunt your booty shorts, treat men wrong, and press rewind on this hit, again, and again. The South London DJ has made “Bad Bitch Electronica” my new favorite genre. —Kylah Williams

Jorja Smith, “What’s Done Is Done”

Jorja Smith just hopped back in her dance bag, and I hope she never leaves. She’s London’s R&B angel who consistently makes U.K. garage feel so now. “I knew what it was when you said it wasn't,” she sings while the BPM cheers her on. —KW

The Avalanches, feat. Nikki Nair, Jessy Lanza, Prentiss “Together”

The Avalanche’s glitchy new single is a warning against nostalgia as much as it goads it on. Saccharine lyrics dance over a bouncy, hopeful beat in the chorus, pulling me into a state of melancholic bliss I know might be false, but I can’t refuse. “As long we’re together forever…and ever….and ever…and ever…” —Hajin Yoo
