Summer doesn't officially kick off in New York City until Gov Ball is over. The city's premier music festival functions as the proverbial school bell for the arrival of hot days and a lot of time to while away. That was literally the case this past weekend at the festival's 2026 iteration, where near-90 degree temps prompted everyone, including KATSEYE, to exclaim: It's so hot. Still, tens of thousands showed out to catch sets from headliners A$AP Rocky, Jennie, Baby Keem, Lorde, and Stray Kids, despite the hiccup of sudden storms washing out the second half of day two (we're still mourning Kali Uchis and Amyl and the Sniffers' set).
