Jorja Smith is back with a new club-ready album this summer.
Today, July 2, the British singer shared a new song, "Alive" featuring Wizkid. It's the lead single from her forthcoming 12-track album, What Are The Odds.
The track, which comes alongside a sweltering Gabriel Trautmann-directed music video set in Paris, is a classic love song about the exhilaration of fresh desire, with musical backing rife with hypnotic and detailed percussion.
The dance-ready tune is a preview of the coming album which, according to a press release, traverses through a plethora of club genres such as UK Garage, Grime, 2-Step, UK Funky, Soulful House, and Afro House. The forthcoming album will be released via Smith's longtime musical home, FAMM.

When is What Are The Odds being released?
What Are The Odds is coming out August 21. Serendipitously, that's the same day as Smith's co-headline performance with Tems at All Points East Festival.
Who worked on What Are The Odds?
The new album was produced by longtime collaborator P2J. In addition to the "Alive"-feature by Wizkid, the album also has a collaboration with Grime rapper Devlin who delivers a new version of his 2010 cult classic, "London City."
