What happened during JAŸ-Z's July 12 performance?

JAŸ-Z's final night at Yankee Stadium had some major logistical hiccups, but ended up being the most stacked night in the run.

Dubbed the "Extra Innings" concert, the packed stadium show was a catalogue-spanning run through some of JAŸ-Z's biggest hits and most vital deep cuts. Due to security challenges, the show was delayed by hours. “Let me explain the delay to you guys. It was like 10,000 people outside and they closed all the doors. Somebody rushed the door, and they closed the door for you guys’ safety and everybody’s safety outside,” JAŸ-Z explained, according to NBC News. "It’s 10,000 people outside. I don’t want to start music and people get trampled. I’m really sorry for the inconvenience but I had to make sure everybody’s Okay.”

The show, which was supposed to begin at 8 p.m., ended up kicking off closer to midnight, beginning what would end up as an epic, multi-hour, 50-song performance, which included guests Beyoncé, Rihanna, Pharrell, Clipse, Jeezy, Usher, Teyana Taylor, Jermaine Dupri, The-Dream, Fat Joe, and Jadaskiss.

Bey performed "Drunk In Love" alongside her husband, and Rihanna came out of semi-retirement to perform "Run This Town" with JAŸ-Z, alongside her hit off of 2015's ANTI, "Bitch Better Have My Money." Pharrell came back for a second night to perform the hits once again, and even brought out Clipse (Pusha T and Malice) who performed their 2002, Pharrell-produced classic, "Grindin.''" Usher came out for “Heart of the City (Ain’t No Love)."
