The FADER's latest cover star underscores (April Harper Grey) has shared a new video for her viral hit "The Peace."
The vowel-heavy track (which The FADER reviewed upon its March release) tells the tale of a romance that grows over the course of three smokes and vape hits at different parties. The video mirrors the song's house party setting, though, its shot in a pitch black soundstage, giving the entire video a liminal, dreamy quality. It was directed by Ayodeji who also co-edited alongside underscores herself. underscores also creative directed the video.
The video release comes ahead of what is sure to be a whirlwind era for underscores, who is set to open for Charli xcx's massive Music, Fashion, Film tour — kicking off in September.
