Shygirl is a club kid par excellence, but her latest single chases after a different sort of euphoria. The British artist’s new song “Lucky (Hymn)” has a trip-hoppy sheen, animated by jangling acoustic guitar and breathily layered vocals. Check out the music video for the new track above.
“Lucky (Hymn)” is the second offering from Shygirl’s forthcoming album Swallow!, out November 6. The new single follows August’s “Alyse.” In a press release, the artist described her newly announced album as a “reintroduction” rooted in her electronic background.

Produced by Karma Kid and Casey MQ, Shygirl says Swallow! was inspired by new love and is focused on romantic indie songwriting. Recording for the new record started shortly after the release of her 2022 debut album Nymph.
