I just discovered Icelandic/Danish singer-producer Róshildur’s kaleidoscopic pop. On “Endir,” she sings in Icelandic over a soft, patchwork-style beat of synth, saxophone, and piano. It sounds as if Bon Iver’s experimental side has merged with Rhye’s soft as silk R&B. — TH

“Two bottles of cologne on right now, I bet the bitch smell me coming,” Rio grins on “Milwaukee Bucks.” Frequent collaborator Danny G laces this track with a ridiculous bounce and Rio’s flow ricochets right off the wobbling bassline, counting up money in fractions of millions. – VM
