Roni Size Reprazent announce New Forms 30th anniversary tour
The Mercury Prize-winning drum and bass collective returns as a full live band, with Fabio & Grooverider in support.
Roni Size Reprazent will mark 30 years of New Forms with a nine-date U.K. tour in June 2027, performing the Mercury Prize-winning album as a full live band. Fabio & Grooverider will support on every date except London.
The touring lineup features Roni Size on keys, Dynamite MC and Onallee on vocals, and Si John on bass, joined by a live drummer and two additional keyboard players. The set will draw on New Forms staples like "Brown Paper Bag," "Heroes," and "Watching Windows," alongside highlights from the wider Reprazent catalog.
"30 years ago we started something that was never supposed to stand still," Size said. "Three decades later, the sound is still moving forward. Reprazent are back. 30 years, one legacy, and a whole new journey. See you out there."
New Forms grew out of Bristol's Full Cycle Records, the label Size co-founded with DJ Krust, DJ Die, and Suv in the early '90s. Where London's jungle scene leaned dark, Full Cycle folded jazz, soul, hip-hop, and live instrumentation into its breakbeats, a sound that took the crew from the underground to Talkin' Loud. Released in 1997, New Forms won that year's Mercury Prize over a shortlist that included Radiohead's OK Computer, The Prodigy's The Fat of the Land, and The Chemical Brothers' Dig Your Own Hole, and went on to go platinum.
The run closes June 25 with a hometown show at Bristol Sounds. See the full dates below.
