JAŸ-Z will headline the 2027 halftime show after 8 years of aiding the NFL with halftime show production and artist curation. Super Bowl LXI will happen at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on Sunday, February 14.
JAŸ-Z said in a statement, “From Reasonable Doubt to standing on the Super Bowl Halftime stage, this has been a journey. Thirty years of music, work, and culture on the world's biggest stage. This run continues to be a dream come true.”
The October 26 announcement of JAŸ-Z as headliner follows an active touring summer for the artist. JAŸ-Z performed 3 nights in a row at Yankee Stadium in July, and from September through October, he headlined the JAŸ-Z30 tour, a short stadium concert tour commemorating the 30th Anniversary of his debut album Blueprint and the 25th Anniversary of Reasonable Doubt. Many superstars were brought out across all dates, including Beyoncé and Rihanna in New York City, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre in Los Angeles, and more. This was JAŸ-Z’s first headlining tour since his 4:44 tour in late 2017.
Fans online have thrown out many guesses regarding who they think the halftime guests will be. JAŸ-Z’s entertainment company, Roc Nation, has collaborated with the NFL since 2019, so signees like Rihanna (who previously headlined a Super Bowl halftime show) are likely to perform. Additionally, JAŸ-Z’s wife, Beyoncé, is at the top of the list of possible guests as another artist with halftime show performance experience.
