NYU is hosting a conference on Public Enemy’s It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back later this month, featuring a documentary screening and group discussion panels where all sorts of dudes over 30 will sit around going “this record was dope!”

I mean, yeah, it is a dope record. But there’s something about hip hop entering it’s museum/reunion tour phase that’s a little more bitter than sweet. But get that appearance fee, Chuck!
