Now that R Kelly is, um, preoccupied, someone’s going to have to fill the void of ~~double-time~~ half-time club R&B. Usher can’t approach the sheer eccentricity of Kellz, but if he keeps putting out songs like the Kelly-biting “Echo,” and “Dat Girl Right There” and that one song that we’re not sure anyone has heard called “In This Club,” then we’ll be able to wait until the hopefully 100% done and in the chamber 12 Play: Fourth Quarter comes out this summer.
