Video: Big Boi f. Mary J. Blige "Sumthin's Gotta Give"

Back when we first got our grubby little hands on "Sumthing's Gotta Give", the first single from Sir Lucious Leftfoot...Son Of Chico Dusty, we of course fell into speculative delirium about the the album's possibility for a more serious and political undertone. These theories were put to bed last night when we got to sit down with Daddy Fat Sacks himself as he ran through the majority of the "almost finished" album. Much like Speakerboxxx (what he calls his actual "first solo album"), Sir Luscious is all over the place, from the block to the cookout to the strip club. The cameos were few, with Dre 3000 and Raekwon on one song, George Clinton and Too Short on another, and finally, TI. We also got to preview the video above, which compliments the song fittingly. We also love that even John Legend and Hill Harper were willing to volunteer for the video's Obama campaign, or at least show up for the victory party.
