Kid Cudi and Kanye West Hide a New Song Behind Some Transformers

Remember when the Neptunes were going to do the soundtrack for the first Transformers movie? This is totally not that, but Kanye and Kid Cudi do have the right idea: they’re essentially premiering a snippet of a song through the Transformers 2 trailer. Who cares if the song’s vibe doesn’t mix with anything happening on screen? This is the future of music. We’re actually going to start stuffing copies of The FADER in-between the pages of the Dover Thrift Edition of Canterbury Tales. It is all about cross-marketing. (via Gorilla vs. Bear)
