Phoenix will be in the United States in a mere five days for their headline show at Bonnaroo. They will be playing at the same time as Phish. This will be kind of like trying to sell lottery tickets in heaven, but it’s still pretty awesome. If ever there were a version of Phoenix’s unstoppable jam “1901″ that might sway a few stray (probably hallucinating) Phishheads, it is this nearly note perfect acoustic version by lead singer Thomas Mars and guitarist Christian Mazzalai recently taped for French television.
