MGMT went weird. But, if you think about it, B-52s used to be super weird. Then the idea of a “Rock Lobster” made obvious sense. Same thing with “Lady Dada’s Nightmare,” a song and song title which makes about as much sense as putting on your Sunday best to visit the bottom of a black hole. The album closes with the title track and then some light applause. That’s right: MGMT clapped for themselves on their own record. Chances that these dudes have spirit animals: 100%

Did anyone else get the advertisement for Peter Gabriel’s new album? HAHA. “Scratch my back”?
i pissed myself laughing. i don’t know why it was funny but it was. there was Peter Gabriel’s face all serious looking, and then the voiceover guy said “Scratch my back”. oh shit…ahhhhhhh.
This album sucks. I am so disappointed.
