Video: Sweat.X, “Very Big Hospital”

April 15, 2010

The paranoid futurism of Sweat.X cannot be contained—particularly when presented in a claustrophobic hospital haunted by bone-wielding children and flashing lights casting shadows on monster faces. This video is reminiscent of Lars Von Trier's mind-warping surgeon show The Kingdom, in that its cast seems just off enough to be creepy at best and terrifying at worst, though vocalist Spoek Mathambo's lyrics are probably eight times as straightforwardly dirty as anything that twisted Danish director could invent. At the very least, it's a contender for scariest eight-person rave ever. (via Discobelle)
