Not claiming Waka Flocka is the best rapper on the planet or anything, but he’s really fun to listen to. He fully owns what he does, which is occasionally rap fast, but mostly he just yelling shit over his own verses. There are a lot of great tracks on here, including the highlights “Money Maker” and borderline snap track “I Can’t Stand You.” This is a free mixtape, so you literally don’t have much to lose.

ayee. so im originally from shark city va. moved to the center of clay co two years ago. with the idea that hip hop that lacks verbal ‘skill’ and/or ‘creativity’ is not really hip hop and so i looked down on it(the radio music Gucci and whatnot), then i realized thats stupid. lol

This guy is such garbage. Jesus, how can anyone try to put him in some larger context of ‘hip hop is dead’; there’s no debate, he’s just uniquely awful. His awfulness is independent of the state of hip hop. It’s unbelievable how much awful music the fader will try to promote, hoping that at least one act will be the next super-hyped flavor of the month.
