David Vandervelde Gets Spiritual in Austin, TX

May 17, 2010

We promised more footage from the hotel hang sesh that we had with David Vandervelde back in Austin during South by Southwest, and the time has come to deliver. Or be delivered. From sin. Because for one blasphemous moment while sitting crosslegged on the lawn of a downtown church, Vandervelde discovered the three major chords intrinsic to Christian rock music. His friend, Mr. Jimmy, was there to sing backup slash lift up his holy hands. Mr. Jimmy, we found out, is also in the band Ghostfinger, and his real name is Matt Rowland (though we prefer the former). All in all, hilarious times.
