If this had been 40 minutes of Ariel Pink standing next to a carousel and recording the music onto a Talkboy, we would not have been surprised in the least. Instead, we get an unknown Russian song, some Prince, some Devo... et cetera, et cetera, all pretty obvious Ariel Pink influences. (Especially that unknown Russian song.) Listening to them all in a row is like hearing Pink's music in its early stages, before his brain warps it into a lumbering beast of mutant pop and warbled melody. Tracklist after the jump.
