The other day we walked by Madison Square Garden and were shocked—SHOCKED—when we saw Francis and the Lights up on the marquee. Actually that’s kind of a lie, we weren’t exactly shocked. Dude has been touring with Drake, so the fact that he’s got enough fans to open for MGMT in a ridiculously large venue isn’t actually a surprise. It is pretty awesome though, especially considering his Cantora Records debut Be Better came out on Tuesday. Nice timing. Here’s something else that is nice timing: we’re giving away a copy of the record along with his first 7-inch, which we recommend keeping forever and then bragging that you own it in like 20 years.
