Remember how the whole campaign behind Apple Jacks was that if you were an adult you didn’t get it because kids just “like it because we like it”? It was kind of awesome in an “oh this is actually a cop out because we have no way to market a cereal with apple in the title that actually in no way tastes like apples” kind of way. This is the same. Kid Cudi and Kanye talking about doing whatever lavishly pretty much because they’re young—despite the fact that in rap years these dudes are both old. The beat sounds like a terrible drug trip, which gives the whole song a vibe that says, “Yeah I might be chilling in Hawaii forever recording an album, but shit still gets dark sometimes.” Maybe it does, maybe it doesn’t.

Not feeling this one..I’ve liked other songs they’ve made (though enjoyed Kanye’s verse). Song as a whole…won’t make it to the iPod.
